Special events abound at "The Turtle", known as one of the most entertaining Islamorada restaurants since the "Sid and Roxie" era parties when the Green Turtle Inn - Islamorada FL Keys first opened its doors and its kitchen in 1947.

Here are a few thousand words, in the form of our image gallery, that tell stories about the good times and special celebrations hosted at The Green Turtle in Islamorada FL. From the revitalization in 2007 which was marked by the grand re-opening of the iconic Islamorada restaurant (after a Hurricane-Wilma-obliged rebuild), to the first "No Name" party in the spring of 2009 - to today when something deliciously entertaining just occurred at one of the most inspired Islamorada restaurants.

The legendary Islamorada restaurant most know as "The Turtle" is enough reason all by itself to slow down and have some fun in Islamorada FL - The "Sportfishing (and dining!) Capitol of the world".

Late Night Happy Hour and Jam - Every Thursday 10pm -1am

Turn up the Music! Live music and jam session led by Dave Feder featuring other local musicians. Late Night Happier Hour - half price beer and well drinks, discounted wine and premium liquors and a great late night bar menu featuring some of the  best munchable in Islamorada.

Art Dedication by "Pasta" -  Aug. 2010

Locally loved, internationally know artist "pasta" Pantaleo presented Green Turtle Inn with a limited edition, embellished and signed print of a turtle painting from his new marine life pop-art  series. The evening, Tuesday Aug.. 3rd also marked the first of the new and cooler Girls Night Out.

Wine Dinner - April, 2010

Hosted by Kelly Richardson of Domaine Select Wine Estates. The menu showcased six Italian-themed courses carefully designed and prepared by Chef Dan. Islamorada dining at its most decadent!
